LO3 Energy, was a pioneer in peer-to-peer energy exchange, partnering with Alder to convey the revolutionary vision of its leadership team to multiple, disparate stakeholder groups-from traditional energy providers to blockchain enthusiasts.

We developed a cohesive family of brands that conveyed LO3’s internal values while building trust across diverse audiences. In parallel, we supported the company’s sales and partner acquisition efforts with a full suite of creative and strategic services.

We led the creative direction and coordination of on-site photo and video shoots, including footage within secure technical areas, to build a rich, authentic visual library aligned with the brand.
Our challenge: to expand LO3 Energy’s brand ecosystem as they launched Exergy, a groundbreaking product that manages the energy data essential to a microgrid. Alongside Exergy, LO3 also needed distinct yet connected brands for two community-driven initiatives, Brooklyn Microgrid and Latrobe Valley Microgrid.
Our task was to create a unified brand family—one where each entity could stand confidently on its own while still feeling connected to LO3’s core identity. We developed the new brand’s visual and strategic DNA, featuring custom logos, illustrations, iconography, typography, color palette, photography style, and brand usage guidelines.
Together, these assets formed a cohesive identity that balanced personality and purpose, giving LO3 and its sister brands the tools to scale globally while staying true to their community-driven roots.
