Fleet electrification start-up Viatec has developed the world’s first-ever fully electric, universal power takeoff unit, which eliminates the need for on-the-job idling of utility trucks. Viatec was pursuing an ambitious growth strategy for the company and its SmartPTO system, until the pandemic suddenly shuttered the industry trade shows.

In collaboration with the Viatec team, Alder & Co. put together a digital marketing and lead generation campaign, targeting decision-makers at major US utilities—a first for Viatec. We used LinkedIn organic posts and ads to promote content and engage our intended audiences. The campaign generated qualified leads, increased engagement across their site and LinkedIn and, most importantly, delivered huge pipeline value at a significant savings compared with event sponsorship costs.

Following the success of the lead generation campaign, Alder was retained to revamp Viatec’s website, overhauling the design and incorporating a reseller locator tool. In November 2022, Alder began leading Viatec’s social, email, and content marketing, and acting as their fractional CMO. Since we took the reins of these digital marketing efforts, impression and engagement numbers online continue to climb.
